An indoor group photo shows about thirty smiling women in a modern office space with wood-look flooring. In the center, a woman in a navy blue suit stands. Several participants, in the foreground and background, hold small white boxes adorned with pink ribbons. To the right, a wall-mounted television screen displays a technical presentation.

On the occasion of March 8th, International Women’s Day, Air Support is honoring the female employees who drive the daily development of our company and, more broadly, the industrial sector. In a rapidly changing world of aircraft maintenance, diversity and gender equality are essential drivers of growth.

Today, women in industry represent approximately 30% of the total workforce, according to the latest INSEE figures. While this proportion is steadily increasing year after year, establishing genuine gender diversity in industry remains a major challenge, particularly within cutting-edge sectors and technical professions.

In aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), this dynamic of gender diversity is proving strategic and crucial. GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association) regularly reiterates that increasing the number of women in the aerospace sector is an absolute priority to support major recruitment campaigns this year at the national level.

At Air Support, experts in onboard equipment maintenance, we take concrete action to promote inclusion. We firmly believe that the diversity of profiles and backgrounds is a key driver of our economic performance, directly stimulating innovation and cohesion within our technical teams.

In the heart of our production workshops and offices, our female employees thrive every day in demanding careers. Methodological rigor, cutting-edge technical expertise, and a strong team spirit define their daily work. Four of them have agreed to share their vision of the industrial sector and encourage the next generation of talent.

A smiling woman, wearing a navy blue sweatshirt with a company logo, handles a blue storage bin in a large industrial shelving unit. The shelves in the background are filled with numerous blue bins, lined up and labeled with alphanumeric codes, suggesting an inventory management or aerospace logistics environment.
A young woman with long hair sits at a wooden workbench in a large industrial workshop, carefully examining a small mechanical part she holds in her hands. A paper document lies on the table in front of her. In the background, the vast workshop, with its industrial ceiling structure, workstations, and other professionals at work, creates a subtle, artistic blur.

A woman with fair, curly hair, wearing a navy blue t-shirt with the "AIR SUPPORT" logo, looks at the camera with a slight smile in a maintenance workshop. Wearing bright orange protective gloves, she holds a small flashlight in one hand, aimed at a complex mechanical part in front of her, and supports the equipment with the other. The industrial background of the workshop is blurred.
A smiling woman, wearing a black and white striped sweater, sits at her desk and looks at the camera. Her hand rests on a computer mouse. In front of her are an open laptop and two large computer monitors. The main monitor displays professional management software called "PURCHASING," showing a complex process diagram with an image of a jet engine in a bright office setting with a blurred background.

These inspiring testimonials powerfully illustrate women’s passion and commitment. They demonstrate that technical skills have no gender and highlight the excellence of our expertise in Occitanie, as exemplified by the initiatives shared during Industry Week.

Beyond the annual celebration of March 8th, promoting diversity is at the heart of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy. Valuing gender equality allows us to build a more efficient, agile, modern, and highly inclusive industrial model, perfectly aligned with Air Support’s founding values.

True to our industrial and societal commitments, we are continuing our concrete actions to break down stereotypes. We will continue to promote the careers of our female employees, inspire young female students, and support all those who choose to thrive and succeed in the aerospace industry.
